Nadia has been trying to wink....and this is the look we get, it's really quite amusing!
Sorry it's been a little while since I have posted, but as many of you we have been kind of busy. Chris has been very sick with ulcers and had a 4 night hospital stay. Today was his first day back to work in 2 1/2 weeks. He is on a strict diet and lots of medication. They still don't know what caused the ulcers but hopefully they are healing. He has to go back for another scope at the end of April. He still is not feeling 100%, but the doctor said it was the worse he has ever seen and it will take 2-3 months before he feels totally better. On a side note, he has lost 15 pounds, hmmm, maybe I should join him in his bland diet!
Last weekend, we had a friend's birthday/baptism. We all had a great time. Then this past weekend we had 3 more birthdays to celebrate. And this next weekend we have 2 more birthdays. So six in total, and we are all birthdayed out!
Nadia is definitely coming into her own. She is actually starting to be more vocal. At daycare, they have always told Chris and I that she let's other kids take her toys away, well now she is speaking up for herself. Now we walk a fine line of teaching her to stick up for herself and sharing. Nadia has been in the one year room for about a month now. Chris and I are in disbelief how much more she is saying now. It's like she comes home with a new word everyday!
