Nadia has been really working on walking in the past week. She can walk but she doesn't have the confidence. I have been able to get her to walk to me but it takes encouragement. Well, today I was standing in the kitchen and she was standing in the living room by the couch, next thing I know she's standing next to me...she WALKED in without me saying a word to her!!! Another thing that she has finally figured out how to do, is stand up without pulling up on things. She has been really trying to stand without pulling up on things for about 2 weeks now, but she always would end up with her butt in the air and her hands and feet on the floor. Finally, on Sunday she figured out how to do it and she stood up and walked to the one stand --- all in front, of Grammy Jayne. We all just stood there and watched and held our breath!
This past weekend we went down towards Philly for two more birthday parties. It was at this place that had lots of BIG blow up things were the kids can jump. Well, Nadia was not amused. Chris and I thought for sure that she would really enjoy it since she loves to jump in her bed and on the couch, but we were VERY WRONG. She screamed every time some kid would bounce her, she didn't mind it when you sat still with her! This is the only picture I have of her from the party. Despite the miserable time Nadia had at the play center, we all had a great time seeing old friends again!
Nadia has been outside playing at daycare this week since the weather has been so nice. We can tell that she has been out in the fresh air this week, because every day she comes home so exhausted and falls asleep while eating dinner---and then wakes up in the middle of the night hungry!
