Nadia had her 5 month check up (should have been her 4 month, but the doctor was sick and had to reschedule) on Friday May 30th. She currently weighs 17 pounds and 8 ounces and is 26.5 inches long. She is in the 95th percentile for her height and weight. She actually has lost weight, because earlier in the month when we took her because she was sick she weighed 18 pounds and 8 ounces. She got her second round of shots, and did very well. The first time she got them she cried for about 5 minutes afterwards and was cranky that evening, but this round she only cried for 1-2 seconds and was fine the rest of the day. The doctor is happy with her progress and said she seems to be right on track. The doctor also said if she had to guess, she thinks Nadia is going to be a tall little girl (shocker!).
Nadia has been working on teeth for the past couple of weeks. We weren't quite sure at first if she was or not, because she never really got majorly fussy, like everyone said she would. We have had a lot of drool, and a lot of finger biting. Well, yesterday I noticed the white spots on the bottom and today they have broke through the skin. Both of her two front bottom teeth are coming in. If they all come in two at a time, she'll have a mouth full before to long!
