We are currently shopping for a convertible car seat. Nadia is in the 95th percentile for her height and weight so she is almost out of her infant car seat. There are so many of them and we really have no clue what to buy, so we are looking for any helpful suggestions. It has to be a convertible car seat because she has to face backwards until she is one.
Also, I have been researching on how to make your own baby food. I work with a girl that says it's easy and economical. If anyone has suggestions I am definitely would like to hear them.

Hmmm...car seats. We have two convertible car seats, one has a bar that comes down over Johnny's head and Kira's is just a plain seat. The bar seemed like a good idea, but as Kira got taller, I had to squash her to get it over her head (that's why Johnny uses it now). Both of them are also belt positioning boosters, so we shouldn't have to buy anymore car seats! I never actually made baby food, but I do have a little food grinder I got at BRU for maybe $10. I would buy canned fruit in water, drain it, and grind it up. It had more texture, so it's more like a stage 2 or 3. It can make a mushy mess though! Also, we had one of those mesh things that you put fruit in and the baby can chew all they want and never get chunks, just lots of juice (and mess!).
