Nadia got this jungle jumper toy a few weeks ago. She hasn't completely figured out how to jump and move in it, but she's discovering more and more things on it each day. We put it in front of our mirror door in the front foyer and she is completely fascinated with the other baby in the room. She'll smile and squeal at the other baby for hours (great entertainment for her & us).
Nadia is trying to get over her first cold. She started with the cold last week (gotta love daycare!). She had a lot of nasal congestion last week, and now it's all drained into her chest, so she has an awful cough. So, we went to the doctor's on Friday to make sure her lungs are clear (which they are) and Nadia now weighs 18.5 pounds. The doctor wasn't our regular doctor and we were not very impressed by him. He told us that it is a virus and there's nothing we can do but wait it out, and if she still has a cough by next Friday bring her back.
Nadia has been doing really well with eating her cereal so they told us to start her with some fruits. So we started with applesauce. Her first bite she got a strange look on her face and raised her eyebrows and was excited about having something else to taste instead of plain cereal. It was very amusing for Chris and me. Needless to say, she had no problems finishing that bowl of cereal.
Yesterday, we went and had some family pictures done. Nadia was a ham and the photographer loved her because she was smiles the entire time. So, overall our first professional family pictures turned out really nice and we had a fun day while doing it.
