Nadia is changing and doing more things each day. She is a happy baby and smiles and laughs each day. It's completely amazing how fast she is growing. Mommy went back to work on March 24th. , so Nadia is in daycare all day Monday, half a day Tuesday, and half a day Wednesday. Mommy is working more evenings so Nadia is not in daycare 5 days a week. This has made it easier on Mommy, Daddy, & Nadia. Unfortunately, now we don't have as much time to update our blog, so please bear with us.
Nadia began sleeping in her own room in her crib since she has been 8 weeks old. She transitioned really well, I actually think it was harder on Mommy and Daddy. She really enjoys her fishy aquarium on her crib, it plays classical music and it seems to soothe her to sleep. Nadia began sleeping through the night when she was 11 weeks old, which worked out perfect since Mommy went back to work the next week.
On Saturday (April 4, 2008), Nadia began eating rice cereal from a spoon. She did really well. She actually finished the whole bowel and did not end up wearing to much of it. We were amazed on how she knew to open her mouth when the spoon came near. The doctor told us what signs to look for in her, to know when she is ready to eat from a spoon, and it completely worked!
