This and that....

We went for another ultrasound today and the babies are looking like babies now. We could see their little arms and legs moving and it looked like the top baby is kicking the bottom baby in the head...nice. They are growing right on schedule and seem to be striving. I still have my hemorrhage and it seems to be growing along with the babies, which is not a good thing but the babies are getting to a size that the hemorrhage will not affect them. My doctor still has me on bed rest but he is very optimistic that I should be up and about very shortly. I go back next week for another ultrasound, let's hope the babies grow and the hemorrhage doesn't.

We have been talking to Nadia about the babies and how she's going to be a big sister. To help her realize and to make her understand about the babies we have been taking her to the ultrasounds with us. So before we go in for the ultrasound we tell her that we are seeing the babies. Well, today the tech was doing the measurements and taking too long for Nadia because she was anxiously awaiting to see the screen. Finally Nadia looked at the tech and said, "You show me the babies now." Chris and I were very surprised by her boldness. The tech just laughed and then said, "How old is she?" I responded with "25 months, and yeah I know I am in trouble."

Nadia went to the doctor the other day, and the little stinker dropped a few pounds...she has been 28 pounds for about 6 months, but now she is 25 pounds. It doesn't really surprise me because she no longer walks she instead she runs everywhere.

The other night at dinner Nadia wanted to be done and wanted to get down. So, Chris told her that she needed to take 2 more bites and then she could get down. A few minutes later she looked at us and said she had to go potty. Chris said to her, Nadia are you saying this so you can get down without eating your 2 bites? She looked at him and smiled and said YES!!! I had all I could do not to laugh.

As soon as Chris figures out what is wrong with our scanner, I will post the ultrasound pictures, and as soon as I get off of bed rest I'll post some new pictures of Nadia.
