So it has been a few months since I have updated our blog....I am sorry but you'll understand once I explain, I hope!
We had a wonderful holiday season. Nadia was a lot of fun this Christmas and I now know that she understands a little more about Christmas. She got a lot of new toys and has made our front room look like a toy store. She also had her 2nd birthday, it's hard to believe! She growing like a weed and her vocabulary has really taken off. She seems to be a quick learner and sometimes very witty. The one night Chris was getting her out of the car and he passed gas, she turned to him and said, "Daddy, did poop go up your back?" Chris said, "Ahhh, no." She looked at him and said, "Are you sure?" Needless to say, he was very surprised and amused by her. I keep telling Chris that he deserves her, because these are things he would say to her if he would have thought of it first. Nadia is very close to being potty trained. She understands the whole process but still gets confused sometimes.
Chris and I have also went through IVF again in December. We had done a procedure in October but it did not work. So we opted to do a whole new IVF cycle, because I had met my deductible for the year and it only made since. Well, we found out on Nadia's birthday (12/28) that we are expecting again. I was really stressing because I did not have my first ultrasound until 1/20/10 and I had little to, no symptoms, so I thought for sure that something was wrong. So we went for our ultrasound and to my surprise, not only did we see one heartbeat, but we saw two....twins! I was completely blown away and so was Chris. the first thing out of my mouth was, "Oh my gosh Chris, are we really ready for 3 kids under 3?" He just said, "Well, I guess we have to be." Needless to say, after a few weeks of letting it set in, it is starting to become more real to us. We have some complications all ready. At 8 weeks they found that I have a subchrionic hemorrhage (which is a pool of blood/blood clot between the gestation sacs (babies) and my uterus.). My doctor has put me on bed rest this week and next week in hopes for it to dissolve or until the babies get big enough so it's not an issue. Because of this issue, they keep doing an ultrasound each week. It amazes Chris and I each week how much the babies grow within a week. Today at our ultrasound, we got to see the babies move their arms. So far the babies are right on track as to were they are suppose to be in growth.
We have told Nadia that she is going to be a big sister, but she still does not understand. Most of the time she says, "No Baby!" And the only way we can get her to agree to be a big sister is to say that Dora is a big sister then she'll say, "Oh, I be big sister like Dora."
So after all that we have been doing, I think you can understand why I have not updated my blog in awhile. Hopefully I will start doing it more regular. I will post some more pictures soon, but I am on the laptop that Chris bought me while I am on bed rest. He really has been a wonderful husband and Dad while I lay around doing nothing.

I am soo happy for you two!! Good luck with the bed rest. You better enjoy the time now, because when these babies get here you won't be able to get a moment to yourself :)
I believe everything you say about Chris. He was always the best guy! You got a good one. Let me know if you need anything. I have been home over six months now and we still haven't gotten together. So I would be happy to help with anything if it gave us a chance to catch up :)
Good luck and you all will certainly be in my prayers!
Luv Mary Ahern
