Can you tell?

Can you tell that when the weather gets nicer Chris and I become busier and getting on the computer isn't an option? Considering it's been over a month since I have posted I am sure you have figured it out.
When we go for ice cream, Nadia prefers a little bit of cool whip in a bowel with a cone on top! (As seen above) She eats the bottom end first.
Since Nadia is now a walker, she has a lot more summer dresses this summer. She is very funny because if I pull one out of her closet, she will take it and say, "oh, pretty!" She ended up with more dresses than planned because she all ready knows how to work her Daddy....We went shopping the one night and we were looking at dresses and she was a great help. She was very funny because if she liked a dress she would hug it and put it in the cart or hold it and if she didn't like it she would throw it down. Well, like ten dresses later we finally left the store, but prior to leaving I kept saying to Chris "she doesn't need that many dresses" but he respond with "but, look she likes them"....so we hence we left with ten dresses.

Nadia is still working on getting her eye teeth in. They have started to break the skin, but holy cow they have given her some problems. Hopefully they will be in by the end of this month, but I am not holding my breath.

Nadia had her 15 month check-up 2 weeks ago (I know she's 17 months---but we are behind). She now weighs 26 pounds and is 32.5 inches tall. She is in the 85-95 % for height and 50-75 % for weight. The doctor said she is right on target for all of her milestones and growth. She got her MMR and chicken pox vaccine shot. It's amazing because the last time she got shots was in January and this time as soon as they came in the exam room with the needles she started screaming....I was surprised that she remembered. We go back in August for her 18 month check-up.

Here are some pictures of Nadia at daycare with her good friend Clara. Clara's Mom and Dad own the daycare and went to Lycoming College with Chris. Clara and Nadia are a week a part in age. They seem to enjoy each other's company. Who knows maybe they'll be best friend's for life. Here they are at a birthday party just hanging out.

Nadia does not need these walkers any more, however she still loves them! She has pulled the front off of this one and uses it as a carrier for her cup (as seen below) or as a traveling seat, she'll turn and sit in it.

I guess I have gone on enough, but I want to tell you one more cute story... Earlier this morning Nadia was laying on the couch, and all of the sudden she got down off the couch and went up the stairs, so I got up to go with her. She was sitting on the landing of the steps and I asked her, "Nadia, are you tired, do you want to go take a nap?" She looked at me and shook her head yes. So, I picked her up and carried her to her bed and put her down for her nap, and she has been asleep ever since. I guess she has been doing this at night too. Chris said that when she's ready for bed she goes up the stairs and to her crib...All I have to say can you tell that we have a kid that likes to sleep!
