First week of the new year

Well, Nadia has been back to daycare for one week, and guess what? She is sick again! She only goes 3 days a week (not even full days), and she seems to pick up every sickness within those 3 days. Daddy was off the last 2 weeks of December so she did not go to daycare.

On top of having a nasty cold, she is getting 6 teeth (could be more but that's what we can feel this far). We know for sure that 3 of the teeth have broken the skin, 2 side bottom and 1 molar on the bottom is through. She has another molar on the bottom that is right there ready to break through any day now and plus her two top eye teeth. The poor girl is having buckets of drool and Motrin and Tylenol are her best friends these days. Once all these teeth get in she'll have 12 teeth in total this far..........how many more teeth?! ( I really don't know...ugh!)

Nadia is getting closer and closer to walking on her own. Last weekend she took 3 steps by herself. She has this walker that she walks with and she walks very good with it, now she just needs to build up her confidence. She has no problem standing without holding on the things but she is hesitant to walk without anything. She'll even walk with you one handed. The girls at the daycare keep saying it's not long, we'll just have to wait and see.

This has been a trying weekend for us. With Nadia sick and teething sleep has been limited. When Nadia got her other teeth she never fussed, but we think the molars are doing a number on her. The last time we had a weekend like this was in the beginning of December when all 3 of us had a terrible colds.
