Sitting Up!

Now that Nadia has the strength to sit up, she always wants to be sitting up. She'll lay for a little bit but then she rolls to try to get on all fours to crawl, however, once she gets discouraged she wants to sit up to play. We have been amused on how she sits up every where. For instance, here she is in her swing and she doesn't think it sits up high enough so she'll sit up and swing that way. It makes mommy and daddy very nervous. When we go to the store she really likes to sit up in the cart to see around.

She is always very curious and doesn't like to miss a thing. Even at daycare, the girls say she is always involved with all the other baby's conversations and never wants to take naps because she is afraid she might miss something.

Nadia went back to the doctor's this week to have her ears checked again, just to make sure everything is good (doctor's policy). The doctor said that her ears looked good, so we are happy. Nadia has broken the 20 pound mark, she now weighs 21 pounds. She's growing like a weed and seems to be a happy little girl!

Obviously, by her size, we have no problems with her eating. We have switched from rice cereal to oatmeal. She seems to like the oatmeal a little better. We have been through all the fruits and vegetables and we haven't found anything that she doesn't like and thus far no allergic reactions.

Nadia's hair is getting lighter and longer. On the top of her head, her hair is about 4 inches long. If we don't put piggy tails in, she has wild hair! Nadia's eyes this far are still very blue (they look like Grandma Gert's eyes (Ladonna)), the doctor told me it could take a year before we really know her true eye color.
